Having a perfect GPA is a dream for every student. But the reality doesn’t always listen to our dream. You need to work hard to have such a great grade printed in your transcript.
“But really, are there any tips to get such perfect GPA? “
There is. I’ve talked with several brilliant students who score high GPA during their college days. I asked them for tips to get high GPA in university and I listed them down below. Curious? Here you go.
Class Isn’t for Gossiping
I know how boring it is to focus on the subject explained by lecturer. Gossiping with our friend about last night’s party sounds more interesting. But if you do that, you just scoot yourself away from high GPA. Both of our visual and auditory senses are extremely stimulated during classes. Thus, our brain can absorb information efficiently. You can’t get information acquired from discussion and Q&A session from books.
Make Time to Study
I know that studying while earning money in Gaekon sounds hard. But if you want get a perfect GPA, studying is a must. List your schedule for the whole day and try to spare some chances a day to study. I won’t recommend you to study for hours continuously. Instead, spare up to 5 chances a day, 1 hour long each to study. This way, your brain won’t be “overheated” and can receive information more effectively.
Take Notes of Important Things
When you discuss with your friends or engage in Q&A session in class, there will be so much information you won’t find in any books. And sometimes, this information is asked in the exams. So, stay focused and don’t forget to take notes on important things you find in classes.
Goals are essential to motivate ourselves to keep studying. But remember, set the goals you are able to reach, not the impossible one. If your current grade is B, try to aim for A- next semester. Aiming for A+ while your previous grade is D is too hard to accomplish.
Surround Yourself with Supportive People
Surrounding ourselves with great designers like Gaekoners can make us a better designer. Just like that, making friends with diligent, smart, and positive people can motivate us to keep studying. Besides, these kinds of people are a good learning source. You can discuss things with them and ask them subjects you’re unclear about.
