It’s no secret that Chris Evans wants to leave the Marvel Cinematic Universe and hang Captain America’s unbreakable shield off. But thanks to Marvel’s producers, his intention of leaving the superhero role is postponed until they wrap up the story with two last remaining movies.
“I had six films in my Marvel contract, so I could have said after the third Avengers I was done, but they wanted to make the third and fourth Avengers films as a two-parter,” said the 35-year-old actor. So it seems like there will be no Cap’s solo outing after the Captain America: Civil War. But you can still see the Cap in action in the last two remaining series of Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers 4, which is rumored to be produced in 2019.
Chris added, “They said they had so many other characters to fit in – Guardians of the Galaxy, Black Panther, Captain Marvel, Doctor Strange, Ant Man – and couldn’t get them all into one movie. Because it made sense.”
It’s pretty sad that Captain’s story should end in the next 2 Avengers movies. Chris Evans charismatic acting has brought fresh air to the rather boring character of Captain America. He plays a big role in bringing the success to The Avengers franchise. Despite his huge involvement in Avengers actions, Chris can make sure all of his humorous banters with Robert Downey Jr. (Iron Man) are perfectly played and naturally tickle your inner sense of humor.
On the next Avengers: Infinity War, Chris will play opposite two new Marvel superhero characters, Ant Man and Black Panther. Can they create a great combination of superheroes as shown in the previous Avengers series? Wait until April 25 next year to find the answer.
