Harry Potter Fans are Estatic as ‘Voldemort: Origin of the Heir’ is Going to be Made

The story of the wizarding world doesn’t stop with Voldemort’s death. Now you can see the journey of young Tom Marvolo Riddle to become the villain wizard, Voldemort. But the film is slightly different from the Harry Potter series and Fantastic Beast. Voldemort: Origins of the Heir is a fan-made film and not produced by Warner Bros. It will be made under Tryangle Film Authority and is currently raising funds on Kickstarter.

To produce the film, Tryangle tried to close a deal with Warner Bros. And they recently announced that Warner Bros finally gave their blessing to produce Voldemort: Origins of the Heir. “We had a private and confidential discussion with Warner Bros who contacted us during the period of the crowdfunding campaign,” said the director, Gianmaria Pezzato. “The only thing we can say is that they let us proceed with the film, in a nonprofit way, obviously,” Pezzato added. Warner Bros also mentioned to make sure the story does not contradict J.K. Rowling’s books.

“We wondered, ‘What made Tom Riddle become Voldemort? What happened in those years, and what really went down at Hogwarts when he came back? A lot goes unspoken. This is the story we want to tell: The rise of the Dark Lord before Harry Potter and his first demise”, Pezzato explained.

The story starts with the death of Hufflepuff’s heir and Tom Riddle’s disappearance. You’ll see how Grisha McLaggen, the Gryffindor heir? hunts Tom Riddle down along with the epic battle between them. There’s still no official announcement of the cast, but we know that Ralph Fiennes will star as the evil wizard, Voldemort.
