When the solar eclipse happens, the moon will pass between the earth and the sun. It will block the sun lights to reach the earth and form a shadow that covered some parts of the earth. As the event occurred, the sun will look like it’s covered with a black circle for few moments. Sometimes, a halo – or a ring – appeared around it and makes a beautiful view to see.

The first solar eclipse of 2017 will take place on February 26th. If you happen to live in Chile, Argentina, Angola, Zambia, and Congo, then you are lucky – because the eclipse will be visible from those countries.

It’s always safe to look at the moon at the lunar eclipse, but it’s different when it comes to the solar eclipse. Sun rays are dangerous for the eye and can even cause blindness. Just look at how a leaf can be burned by a focused sunlight that passed through a magnifier. Imagine if the leaf is our eye. We don’t want that to happen, right?
