Kids love video games, and a lot of them will do anything so their parents let them play. Like this little guy named Nathan who went as far as faking a letter “from school” in attempt to make his parents give him more video game time.
The 7-year-old recently brought home a note which he claimed was from his school. It featured pencil-written message saying the little boy is good at anything in school except for what he called “Video Game Class”. Therefore, the parents should let him stay up all night playing video games.
“Nathan has been doing good in all his classes, exept [sic] for VIEO GAME CLASS! If he does not stay up all night playing video games, he will get kicked out of school!!!” so the letter read. “Start letting him stay up all night, & start tonight! He can play anything, computer, Wii, iPod, iPad, phone & any other electronick [sic].”
The cute letter went viral after it was posted on Reddit by Nathan’s mom Lori. To Mashable, Nathan explained how he got the idea to write the note. “My friend’s T-shirt had something like the note, and I wanted to copy it and change some things,” he said.
In the end, Nathan admitted to his parents that the school didn’t even care about his video gaming habits, but the letter won his parents’ sympathy. They rewarded Nathan with an extra 30 minutes of video game time after they received the letter. (dth/gaekon)
