Trump’s Lawyer Gets Trolled for Using Comic Sans for Official Statement

Which fonts will you avoid to use when you have to write something formal? When that question’s asked to most people like you and me, Comic Sans will likely appear in our lists. But that apparently doesn’t apply to President Donald Trump’s lawyer Ty Cobb.

The lawyer ended up got trolled online after using the world’s most hated font for a statement he released as a response to former national security adviser Michael Flynn pleading guilty in a probe by special counsel Robert Mueller into Russian interference in the 2016 election.

In the statement, Cobb said that Flynn’s guilty plea wouldn’t “implicate anyone other than Mr. Flynn” himself. A screenshot of the statement was posted online over the weekend via Twitter by Bloomberg News reporter Sahil Kapur, and subsequently generated mockeries from other users of the micro-blogging site.

“Did he really do this in comic sans?” one user asked in disbelief, to which Kapur simply replied, “Yes.” Another user who couldn’t believe what she’d just seen asked the national political reporter, “Did ty cobb draft this in comic sans or was that your decision?” He reiterated, “The former.”

“Is that effing Comic Sans!!!!!!! Why not just write it in crayon,” one commenter suggested. Another commenter who happened to be an attorney even said that using Comic Sans was a “malpractice.” She explained, “If i submitted something written in comic sans they would fire my black ass so quick. Meanwhile this guy is using it, and has a handlebar mustache, yet is deemed competent by the president.”

In the years of Trump’s campaign and presidency, I have developed a large divot in the right side of my forehead. It is a result of reading, hearing, and seeing all the ridiculous things he and his accomplices do. smh

Trump signed a national security waiver for six months to keep the embassy in Tel Aviv straight after his “recognition” statement. This man lies to everyone. Its a car crash and he is driving 🙁
